Mistley Parish Council Tree Planting Project

In partnership with Essex County Council and as part of a Biodiversity and Climate Change Action Plan, Mistley Parish asked for suggestions and ideas from local residents about areas for planting trees around the Village.

Residents suggested along The Walls – to replace some trees which needed to be removed, along Harwich Road, and at Stourview Avenue.

Please be aware that the tree planting work will commence early/mid-week from the 10th February 2025 – weather permitting.

Mistley Parish Council would like to thank residents for their suggestions and thanks also go to Essex County Council for funding and organising this project.
