Philip Cunningham

We moved to Mistley in 1979 and since retiring from a Social Work & Management career with Essex County Council, I have pursued interests in archaeology and local history, working as part of Manningtree Museum, writing a number of booklets and giving tours and talks. I am a trustee and treasurer of Mistley Village Hall.

My aim on the council is to see the creation of a Neighbourhood plan, working with other parishes in order to take more control of local housing development ensuring we have a variety of homes to meet local needs and create good supportive communities with all the facilities needed.
