"I moved to Mistley in 1957 with my family and my father was the local policeman for many years until his retirement. Although I am of retirement age now, I have decided to carry on, albeit on reduced hours, the job I have always loved as a community care worker locally. Mistley is very special to me and I have watched it change enormously over the years but I will always have the best interest of Mistley and its residents at heart and wish to try and make Mistley continue to be a lovely safe happy place for future generations to enjoy."
